First I dream we're driving to somewhere then I dream that I'm in a building's basement and I'm trying to go from there to a staircase but the roof is 12 inches from the floor. I decided to go and take the elevator but the building shakes and the basement starts to give way. I see a woman who is if front of me and she pries some wood away for me to get through. Then I leverage the beam so that she can get through before it slips. I sense that the building is a hotel 6 floors tall and I get to the top and am then I'm in bed. The kids are in a different room or something. Then in a few seconds I feel like the bed is falling down. I think that it would suck to be impaled on debris on the way down. When we finally stop I can hear muffled sounds beneath the bed and other floors. I keep wondering where they kids are and I find myself dropping from a high place onto the grass outside. When I land I run from the ruin and my foot pokes through a gopher hole but I keep running through the grass. I end up by the wall of a brick building with a window above me. It has a rolling shutter and I climb↑and hang onto it. I think I ran back to the motel and I'm in the lobby on the ground floor and I hear a crash in the room in front of me. I opened the door and saw Mrs Figueroa with her desk and chair smashed from falling through the floor. She says holy shit and then I look out and up at the patio overhang and see it starting to fall over and I ran inside but to the opposite wall but I think it crushes me under the rest of the motel.
This dream seems to be reflecting some anxiety or fear you may be experiencing in your waking life. The driving at the beginning of the dream may represent a sense of being in control and going somewhere, but then the instability of the building basement and the shaking of the whole structure suggests a loss of that control and a feeling of vulnerability. The woman who helps you might represent a figure in your life who is supporting you through a difficult or uncertain time. The falling bed and the fear of being impaled on debris may indicate a sense of helplessness or powerlessness in the face of a potential disaster or crisis. The concern for the children and the search for them suggest a deep protective instinct or concern for loved ones. The feeling of running and then climbing up to safety could symbolize a desire to escape or overcome challenging circumstances. The crashing sound and Mrs. Figueroa's destroyed desk and chair may symbolize a loss of stability or security, and the collapsing overhang could represent a major disruption or crisis. Overall, this dream may be reflecting a sense of fear or uncertainty about the future and a need for support, protection, and a sense of safety and stability.
